(Senior) Backend Web Developer (all genders)

Our platform is fully based on Shopware 6 and is continuously evolving, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, automation and clean system architecture.

• Develop modern, scalable e-commerce solutions based on Shopware 6

• Take ownership of complex shop systems, custom web applications and high-performance interfaces

• Design and implement Shopware plugins, custom processes and automation solutions

• Ensure high code quality and engineering standards including clean code, code reviews, testing, CI/CD and documentation

• Continuously improve and evolve our system landscape and shop architecture

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into complex technical concepts and solutions in close collaboration with IT project managers, product owners and stakeholders

• Actively contribute to architecture, performance and technology decisions

• Strong experience with Shopware 6, PHP 8+ and modern object-oriented development, including plugin development, Symfony, DAL and APIs

• Experience building scalable system architectures and working with databases and infrastructure such as MySQL or MariaDB, ideally Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform

• High quality standards, structured working style and a strong ownership mindset with a focus on performance, automation and clean code

• Very good German skills or fluent English
