Product Designer (m/f/d) eCommerce

With the brands Holzprofi24 and Leondo, we operate some of the leading e-commerce platforms for home & garden in Europe. We combine modern web technologies, data-driven online marketing, and powerful logistics to offer our customers an outstanding shopping experience. Our customers don't buy €20 items from us; they often invest several thousand euros in patios, flooring, or garden sheds—high-involvement purchases where customers want to truly understand what they are buying before making a decision. We want our customers to reach their ideal solution faster and with greater confidence than anywhere else. With us, you work in a dedicated in-house development team with short decision-making paths and no agencies in between. We lean heavily into modern AI tools, build prototypes via vibecoding in hours instead of weeks, and offer you plenty of creative freedom for your own ideas, pragmatic experimentation, and flexible working hours. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Product Designer (m/f/d) eCommerce who develops user-centric concepts, turns ideas into prototypes, and significantly shapes our shop experience.

• Analysis of our online shop to identify friction points in the buying process and derive targeted optimizations

• Concept development for solutions such as smart product configurators that make decisions easier for customers

• Conducting user interviews and gathering direct customer feedback

• Independent creation of concrete mockups and prototypes that can be directly implemented by the development team

• Experimenting and rapid prototyping with modern AI tools in an agile in-house environment

• Post-launch evaluation and checking implemented features for their impact in live operations

• Autonomously driving your own ideas forward with flexible working hours and close collaboration with developers

• Proven practical experience in design (Figma, prototyping, design systems) OR a technical background with an understanding of modern frontend stacks (ideally Nuxt)

• Ability to write specifications clear enough for software developers to work on without back-and-forth questions

• Enjoyment of experimentation and the use of modern AI tools (e.g., for rapid prototyping / vibecoding)

• Self-driven work style, hands-on mindset, and the desire to execute your own ideas
